Job summary

You will review contractor work, prepare progress and safety reports, and assist with contract changes as needed. The role requires 3+ years of experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel to multiple job sites in Colorado and the western United States.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must obtain and maintain position certifications.
• Must have a valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Must be willing to travel to job sites in Colorado or western U.S.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a construction inspector for transportation projects overseeing road, highway, and bridge construction to ensure quality and safety.
• Review, inspect, test, and measure contractor work to meet contract requirements.
• Recommend approval/payment or rejection of work to the project engineer.
• Maintain daily records and reports on progress, safety, quality, schedule, and budget status.
• Analyze schedules using MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent.
• Prepare documentation for contract changes or modifications when requested.
