Job summary

Qualifications

• Two applicable certifications are required; one of the following degrees is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel to construction sites statewide.

Responsibilities

• Provide inspection services for transportation construction projects and ensure work/materials meet proposals, plans and specifications.
• Perform measurements, calculations, and verifications of weights/volumes as needed.
• Plot and run cross sections and prepare as-builts during project progress.
• Conduct materials testing and document inspected work daily.

Reading engineering plans

Reading technical reports

Roadway construction experience

MARTCP certification

SHA Yellow Card certification

Education

Associate Degree in Construction Management or related field
