Job summary

Mead & Hunt is seeking an experienced Construction Inspector for projects in Columbia, MD. The role focuses on inspecting transportation construction, verifying materials meet plans, and preparing as-built documents.

Qualifications

• Experience with transportation construction projects
• Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and technical reports
• Experience documenting field inspections and testing processes

Responsibilities

• Provide inspection services for transportation construction projects.
• Ensure all work and materials comply with proposal, plans and specifications.
• Perform required calculations, take measurements, and verify weights and volumes.
• Plot and run cross sections and prepare as-built documentation during project progress.
• Document inspected work daily and travel to construction sites statewide.
