Responsibilities

• Performs field inspections of road construction and maintenance sites to ensure compliance with plans and codes.
• Coordinates contractors on county projects; conducts meetings and schedules inspections.
• Reviews construction plans and contracts; evaluates rights-of-way and utility locations; estimates materials and costs.
• Inspects materials and workmanship for quality and contract compliance; verifies quantities and safety compliance.
• Processes payment requests; ensures work completed and invoicing accurate.
