Ideal candidates are juniors in ABET-accredited civil engineering programs, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CAD tools (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer) preferred. The program includes mentorship and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• No experience required if accepted into a Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.
• Must be a Junior pursuing a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or OpenRoads Designer (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operations support to Roads & Highways Engineering staff
• Collaborate with engineers on Roadway plan production tasks
• Perform simple drafting and CAD/ORD assignments following detailed instructions
• Assist in the compilation of design data and the preparation of construction plans
