Job summary

HNTB in Austin, TX is seeking a New Grad Civil Engineer to join our Roadway team. You will assist in producing and modifying design calculations, technical reports, and plans for diverse infrastructure projects.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering; familiarity with MicroStation and AutoCAD; knowledge of Microsoft Office. Preferred: Civil Engineering degree, EIT certification, internship experience. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Understanding of engineering principles applicable to civil projects.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office; basic knowledge of MicroStation or AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work within schedule and hours provided.
• Support preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
• Assist in preparing project quantity and cost estimates.
• Assist engineering teams with organization and admin of design files.
• Support engineering teams with data collection, field investigations, development and design of projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
