Job summary

HNTB is seeking New Grad Engineers for Summer 2027 in Arlington, VA. You will assist in producing and modifying design calculations, reports, plans and specifications for project delivery with the team.

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; familiarity with Microsoft Office; MicroStation and/or AutoCAD; strong interest in transportation and infrastructure. You’ll gain hands-on experience across a variety of challenging projects and contribute to successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with MicroStation or AutoCAD.
• Interest in transportation and infrastructure; manufacturing is not required.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work within the schedule and hours provided.
• Supports preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
• Assists in preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
• Assists engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.
• Supports engineering teams with research, data collection, field investigations, development and design of projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned
