Job summary

HNTB is seeking a New Grad Civil Engineer to join our Roadway team in Austin, TX. This role involves assisting in the production and modification of design calculations, technical reports, and engineering plans for a diverse portfolio of projects.

You will work with project teams to develop conceptual and detailed designs, run calculations, and support project delivery. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required, with preference for Civil Engineering background and familiarity with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Familiarity with MicroStation and AutoCAD is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is expected.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work within the project schedule and hours.
• Supports preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
• Assists in preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
• Assists engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.
• Supports engineering teams with data collection, field investigations, and design for projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
