Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking an experienced CAD Operator to join our Roadway team in Orlando, Florida. You will develop concepts and perform preliminary to final design for projects, focusing on alignments, profiles, drainage, and signing plans.

You will create, review, and manage drawings with CAD software and coordinate with the design team to maintain schedules. The role requires 3+ years of experience, strong CAD skills (Autodesk or Bentley), and the ability to work independently or with a team in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in CAD or design environments.
• Advanced knowledge of Autodesk or Bentley CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts and perform preliminary and final roadway design.
• Create geometric alignments, profiles, surfaces, cross sections, grading.
• Produce technical drawings and plans using CAD software.
• Quality check drawings and plans of substantial complexity.
