Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a seasoned Civil Engineer and Project Manager to lead highway and bridge design initiatives across FDOT districts, guiding multidisciplinary teams and delivering high‑quality roadway solutions on schedule.

This role offers a base salary up to $225,000, a hybrid work policy, comprehensive benefits, and growth within a global engineering leader. Florida‑licensed EOR experience and FDOT project familiarity are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Florida P.E. license to serve as Engineer of Record (EOR).
• Significant post‑graduate experience in transportation and highway engineering.
• FDOT Districts 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and Florida Turnpike Enterprise familiarity.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams delivering complex roadway projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager for highway and bridge design projects.
• Lead technical teams on roadway design challenges with innovation.
• Develop advanced design concepts, techniques, and standards.
• Ensure effective utilization of engineering personnel with high quality standards.
• Collaborate with business development and marketing to win projects in FDOT districts.
