Quality Engineering Solutions, Inc. (QES) is seeking Transportation Construction Inspectors at all levels to join our team. For over 25 years, QES has committed to safe, compliant engineering and inspection services for road, bridge, and pavement projects.

Qualifications

• Two years of transportation construction inspection experience with a HS diploma.
• Equivalent mix of experience and training to read/interpret plans and specs, measure quantities and QC testing.
• Associate Degree may substitute for one year of experience.
• Engages multiple perspectives when solving problems and learns from peers.
• Prior PennDOT/Pennsylvania project experience is preferred.
• Certifications listed are desirable.

Responsabilités

• Carry out technical inspections to ensure roadway, highway, and bridge projects meet plans/specs.
• Monitor quality assurance for materials testing (soils, concrete, aggregates, bituminous).
• Adhere to overtime requirements per PA Turnpike, PennDOT, and client rules.
• Meet daily with Client Project Engineer/Manager/Supervisor for instructions.
• Complete project documentation: daily reports, cost estimates, and activity logs.
• Ensure permit compliance and erosion/sedimentation controls are followed.
• Request guidance from supervisor for inspection of materials/workmanship.
