Job summary

Atlas is seeking experienced Roadway/Bridge Construction Inspectors to join our Quality Management and Construction Inspection team. In this role, you will perform field inspections, materials testing, documentation, and compliance monitoring on complex transportation projects.

This position requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to work with engineers and senior inspection staff in a dynamic field environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in civil engineering or construction management.
• Progressive transportation technician experience required per the listed education paths.
• Experience performing inspections, testing, and documentation on highway/bridge projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent roadway and structural inspections to ensure compliance with contract plans and specs.
• Inspect and test materials (soils, aggregates, asphalt, concrete) for quality and composition.
• Evaluate pavement operations for spreading, rolling, alignment, depth, and compaction.
• Maintain accurate project records and support contract administration with pay item documentation.
