Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of vegetation management and sound horticultural practices.
• Experience applying herbicides to control weeds and brush.
• Experience operating Category B equipment such as asphalt distributor, front-end loader, or mulch blower.

Responsibilities

• Manage vegetation along rights-of-way using herbicides and hydraulic equipment.
• Install erosion control and maintain plant beds and wildflower areas.
• Operate and inspect equipment including trucks, tractors, mulch blowers, and hand/power tools.
• Mow and perform related landscape tasks as needed.
