Job summary

Goodyear is hiring a Roadside Technician to respond to tire failures at customer locations, performing mounting, repair, and inflation of commercial tires. The role requires being on the roadside during service calls and participating in an on-call rotation with after-hours compensation.

Training is provided; experience isn't required. The team offers benefits and opportunities for advancement within Goodyear Commercial Tire Centers and Truck Care Centers across the United States.

Qualifications

• Basic Requirements: Valid driver's license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Servicing Commercial Tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire.
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
• Inflating of tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Follow OSHA regulations and safety requirements including wearing PPE and using tire cages.
