Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Roadside Technician based in Ann Arbor, MI. This role involves responding to tire-related failures at customer sites, performing dismounts, mounting, repairs, and inflation to prescribed PSI, and supporting shop duties when calls are slow.

Starting pay is $24 per hour during training, rising to $27 per hour for experienced technicians. A mandatory on-call rotation and occasional Saturdays are required; after-hours calls carry premium pay.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
• Age 21 years or older at start of employment.
• Demonstrated safety awareness and ability to follow PPE and OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside tire service calls and repair or replace tires at customer locations.
• Perform mounting, dismounting, and matching assemblies; ensure radial runout checks as needed.
• Inflate tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements and adhere to safety policies.
