Excel Truck Group is seeking an experienced 24/7 Roadside Mobile Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This role will be based at our customer’s facilities, provided with a fully equipped mobile repair truck, and compensated for travel. Flexibility in schedule is required to meet customer needs.

If you have experience as a diesel truck technician, we want to hear from you. Certifications are a plus and can lead to higher wages. Experience with Freightliner, Mack, Sterling, Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, and/or Cummins is ideal but not required. Completion of a diesel technician school and certification is preferred.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled maintenance
• Ideally certified to perform State Inspections and CDL
• Prepare shop work orders for equipment repair
• Use computer systems
• Maintain shop cleanliness
• Perform other duties as assigned
