Job summary

Pomp's Tire Service is seeking a Roadside Commercial Tire Technician to respond to roadside calls, perform tire mounting, dismounting, and on-the-road repairs for commercial vehicles. You’ll inspect tires and vehicles, work in various weather conditions, and maintain tools and work areas.

The role requires a valid driver's license, willingness to work nights and overtime, and experience with commercial vehicles or mechanical work. Physical lifting up to 50 lbs regularly is expected.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment driver screening.
• Willingness to work night shifts, overtime, and non-standard hours.
• Preferred experience with commercial vehicles and general mechanical skills.
• Ability to safely change and repair commercial tires on the road in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, up to 150 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to roadside service calls to change and replace tires on commercial vehicles.
• Perform tire mounting, dismounting, and replacements on the road.
• Conduct thorough inspections of tires and vehicles to identify additional issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and proper tool maintenance.
• Work independently in all weather conditions to provide reliable roadside tire service.
• Complete additional tasks to support team operations.
