Pomp's Tire Service in Billings, MT, seeks a Roadside Commercial Tire Technician to respond to roadside calls, change and replace tires on commercial vehicles, and perform safety inspections in an outdoor environment.

You’ll operate independently in all weather, maintain tools, and support team operations, with a focus on reliability and safety. Valid driver’s license required; night shifts and overtime are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience performing roadside tire changes and inspections.
• Ability to operate in varying weather and on busy roads.
• Must have a valid driver's license and pass pre-employment screening.
• Comfort with night shifts, overtime, and non-standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside service calls to change and replace tires on commercial vehicles.
• Perform tire mounting/dismounting and replacements on the road.
• Conduct tire and vehicle inspections to identify issues.
• Maintain organized work area and tools.
• Work independently in all weather to provide reliable roadside service.
• Support team operations with additional tasks as needed.

What You'll Do:

• Respond promptly to roadside service calls to change and replace tires on commercial vehicles
• Perform tire mounting, dismounting, and replacements efficiently while on the road
• Conduct thorough inspections of tires and vehicles to identify any additional issues
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment, including proper maintenance of tools and equipment
• Work independently in all weather conditions to provide reliable roadside tire service
• Complete additional tasks as assigned to support team operations

What You Need:

• Valid Driver's License and ability to pass pre-employment driver's screening
• Willingness to work night shifts, overtime, and non-standard hours with minimal supervision
• Preferred experience with commercial vehicles and general mechanical skills
• Ability to safely change and repair commercial tires on the road in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 150 pounds occasionally
