Job summary

The Town of Windsor, CT is seeking a Maintainer II to perform manual and semi-skilled construction, maintenance and repair work in streets, highways, parks and grounds. Qualifications

• Completion of High School or equivalent, plus two years of related highway construction or grounds maintenance experience.
• Ability to pass post-offer physical and drug screen, including marijuana testing.

Responsibilities

• Performs street maintenance work: repairs streets/sidewalks with asphalt, cold patching, and concrete; operates roller and dump truck; patches potholes.
• Performs grounds maintenance: cuts grass, trims weeds on town property with mowers and trimmers.
