Valliant Consulting Group in New Mexico is seeking a Roads & Transportation worker to maintain and inspect roadways, direct traffic around work zones, and operate maintenance equipment. The role requires routine maintenance, safety compliance, and accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities include pothole patching, crack sealing, snow removal, and occasional welding or mechanical tasks, with a focus on keeping county roads safe and operational.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in medium-duty equipment operation, road maintenance, or related environment.
• Must possess a valid NM Driver's License.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check.

Mansioni

• Performs routine maintenance tasks on roads, such as patching potholes, sealing cracks, and applying asphalt.
• Inspects roads for damage or wear and ensures that all safety protocols are followed.
• Directs traffic around work sites and operates road construction and maintenance equipment.
• Performs daily vehicle inspections and keeps complete records of maintenance and activities.
• Notifies supervisor of necessary repairs or replacements and participates in staff meetings.
