Job summary

Anne Arundel County is seeking a Roads Maintenance Supervisor to lead crews in the maintenance, repair, and limited construction of roads, drains, and related facilities. You will plan work, supervise multiple crews, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time completion.

The role requires 4+ years in public works maintenance with 2+ years supervisory experience, plus a valid non-commercial driver's license and possibly Class B CDL.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or vocational school.
• 4+ years of maintenance, repair, and limited construction work in public works.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Valid non-commercial driver's license; Class B license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lay out, and assign work to crews and workers in roadways maintenance.
• Supervise and train subordinate foremen and crews; inspect work in progress and on completion.
• Oversee maintenance, repair, and limited construction of roads, drains, and related facilities.
• Manage snow and ice control operations and yard foreman duties as assigned.
• Maintain records and reports; ensure safety and public service continuity.
