Qualifications

• Associates degree plus 6+ years in construction/maintenance or equivalent.
• Valid North Carolina driver's license and Class A CDL.
• Certifications: Confined Space, Flagger, FEMA 100/700 or ability to obtain within 6 months; OSHA 30 within 1 year; Public Operator Pesticide License within 1 year.
• Ability to supervise staff and manage multiple work orders.

Responsibilities

• Inspect Town Right of Ways and prioritize repairs or replacements.
• Lead and coordinate daily activities of maintenance crews; schedule work orders and monitor workloads.
• Investigate citizen complaints about drainage and road issues.
• Coordinate equipment, materials, and staff for cost-effective operations.
• Manage inventory and maintenance of vehicles and tools.
• Oversee street/sidewalk/infra maintenance within rights of way and easements.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of staff.
