Job summary

Thinklance LLP in Denver, CO is seeking an intern to support Roads & Highways Engineering staff with administrative and design tasks.

You will collaborate with engineers on roadway plan production, perform simple drafting and CAD assignments, and help compile design data for construction plans. This internship provides mentorship and hands-on exposure to industry leaders while you pursue your degree.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an associated or bachelor’s degree program in a related technical field.
• Completion of at least 60 credit hours toward a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by Summer 2026.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
• Experience with CAD software is preferred (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation or OpenRoads Designer).

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operations support to Roads & Highways Engineering staff.
• Collaborate with engineers on roadway plan production tasks.
• Perform simple drafting and CAD assignments following detailed instructions.
• Assist in the compilation of design data and preparation of construction plans.
