Job summary

BNSF is seeking a Civil Engineer for Maintenance of Way in Henrietta, MO (CHI). You will plan, supervise, and coordinate track maintenance to meet FRA standards and safety requirements.

The role requires travel 50–70% across the region, on-call availability for emergencies, and collaboration with local agencies. A Civil Engineering degree and supervisory MoW experience are preferred, with strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Five years of supervisory Maintenance of Way experience.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, prioritize and supervise maintenance crews.
• Coordinate track maintenance with other departments to maximize work efforts and train operations.
• Perform inspection of track by riding trains, walking and hi-rail.
