Job summary

McKinley Elevator Corp in Irvine, CA is seeking a full-time warehouse/shipping associate to load and unload materials, assist with orders, and maintain safe, compliant operations. You will perform pre-trip inspections, operate forklifts, and help with inventory and staging under supervision.

Ideal candidates have warehouse/logistics experience, a current forklift license, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Background in warehouse operations and logistics.
• Must understand safety regulations and DOT standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and deadlines.
• Punctual and reliable with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Load materials and equipment for safe transport to job sites or to technicians' homes.
• Safely unload materials and/or equipment.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and fuel vehicles as needed.
• Comply with DOT standards and regulations.
• Assist warehouse with pulling and preparing orders, receiving, staging, and stocking materials.
• Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Assist installers with movement or staging of off-loaded materials and equipment.
• Wash assigned vehicles as needed and follow maintenance schedule.
• Contribute to team with additional duties as requested.
• Perform emergency repairs (tires, bulbs, fuses, etc.).
• Inventory units at delivery and report results to Project Manager.
