Job summary

Ilitch Charities, Inc. is seeking a Love Kitchen Driver & Site Leader to operate the Love Kitchen Truck and manage operations at various serving sites across the U.S. The position requires a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and involves extensive traveling, with an 8-day work schedule followed by 4 days off.

Your responsibilities will include driving to serving sites, managing staff, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations, and maintaining kitchen equipment. Ideal candidates should have strong communication skills and experience driving a tractor-trailer.

Qualifications

• Two years of tractor/trailer operation experience, including city driving and backing up experience.
• Ability to read and follow an atlas map.
• Analytical skills necessary to troubleshoot mechanical problems.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Love Kitchen Truck and manage on-site activities.
• Communicate with franchisee and serving site details before events.
• Maintain all equipment and perform minor repairs as needed.

Skills

Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
