Qualifications

• CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and current DOT medical certification.
• Proven experience operating commercial trucks, including backing, docking, and maneuvering in varied environments.
• Strong knowledge of DOT hours-of-service rules and basic vehicle safety procedures.
• Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading/unloading and lifting product.
• Reliable time management and attention to detail with delivery paperwork.
• Professional communication and customer service when interacting with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site CDL A Truck Driver role based in Detroit, MI. The CDL A Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating a commercial vehicle to transport food products to designated locations, following established routes and delivery schedules. Day-to-day tasks include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, loading and unloading products, verifying delivery documentation, and maintaining accurate logs in compliance with DOT regulations. The driver will interact with customers at delivery sites, ensuring courteous service and proper handling of goods. The role also includes monitoring vehicle condition, reporting maintenance needs, and adhering to all company safety policies and traffic laws.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and current DOT medical certification.
