The South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles (SCDMV) is seeking a License Examiner II for the North Augusta Branch to administer road tests and evaluate applicants for multiple license classes. You will interact with customers, explain requirements, collect fees, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and relevant experience.
• Valid South Carolina driver's license and at least 21 years old with one year driving experience.
• Must complete nationwide criminal background check including fingerprinting.
• CDL test examiner trainer course if certifying CDL tests.

Responsibilities

• Administers road test examinations for multiple license classes.
• Examines, processes, and prints driver licenses and registrations.
• Answers customer inquiries on licensing, vehicle, titling, and insurance.
• Greets customers and directs them to appropriate offices.
• Maintains records, collects fees, and performs routine branch duties.
