Job summary

Reading Truck Group is seeking a Service Technician to perform service on auxiliary (after-market) mobile hydraulic equipment. The role covers complete repair, maintenance, welding and fabrication at the shop, plus diagnosing problems and developing standardized repair procedures for warranty issues.

Requirements include advanced electrical experience, a valid driver's license with a clean record, the ability to travel overnight or work non-traditional schedules, and having your own tools.

Qualifications

• Prior advanced electrical experience.
• Welding experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to travel overnight and/or work non-traditional schedules as workload requires.
• Must have his/her own tools.

Responsibilities

• Complete repair, maintenance, welding and fabrication on returned customer equipment at shop as needed.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems.
• Develop standardized repair procedures to be applied to duplicate warranty issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Nuts and Bolts

• Complete repair, maintenance, welding and fabrication on returned customer equipment at shop as needed
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems
