Job summary

Lift Truck Parts & Service - Brockton is seeking a road mechanic to join our family-owned forklift business. The right candidate will have mechanical experience on cars, trucks, or forklifts, with forklift knowledge a definite plus. After training, a service van will be provided to visit customer locations and service forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.

Experience with technology is a plus, as hours and tasks are logged through a tablet. Excellent pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• At least one year of mechanical experience.
• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Self-motivated and professional with a customer-service mindset.
• Own tools or willingness to use tool allowance.

Responsibilities

• Mobile field repairs at customer sites.
• Maintain equipment per industry and company standards.
• Complete required documentation and work orders.
• Keep work area neat and safe.
• Comply with safety policies and contribute to service department operations.

Responsibilities

• Mobile field repairs
• Efficient equipment maintenance according to industry and company standards
• Complete any required documentation, including work-orders
• Keep job site/work area neat, clean, and organized
• Observe and comply with all company policies and safety standards
• Complete any other assigned tasks ton contribute to effective operation of the service & repair department
• Ensure work is being conducted safely for the employees, the customers, the public and our environment

Qualifications

• At least one year of mechanical experience
• Teammate with a strong sense of dedication to the customer and service team
• Self-motivated and professional
• Possess own tools (employer willing to help out with some new tool expenses through tool allowance)
• Possess a valid drivers license
