Job summary

Talin Home Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our field-based team. The COTA works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality care to patients in various settings, including pediatrics, outpatient services, skilled nursing facilities, and acute care environments.

The candidate should have strong anatomy & physiology knowledge and experience developing care plans that improve patients' functional

Qualifications

• COTA certification from an accredited program.
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to occupational therapy.
• Experience or familiarity with home healthcare, outpatient therapy, skilled nursing facilities, or acute care settings is preferred.
• Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to therapeutic practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic interventions focusing on ADLs to promote independence.
• Conduct assessments and document patient progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families about treatment goals and home exercises.
• Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
