Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is hiring a Road Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a diverse fleet across challenging locations. You will work on aerial platforms, pumps, HVAC and related equipment, with emphasis on safety and uptime.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience, and a valid driver's license. CDL may be required at some locations; benefits include health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3-5 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (21 years of age & CDL license may be required in some locations).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on equipment.
• Work on a variety of makes and models in diverse locations.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure uptime of fleet.
