Job summary

Power Corporation of America is seeking an experienced Road Mechanic to maintain, diagnose and repair our fleet of heavy vehicles and specialized equipment used in powerline construction and maintenance. This role provides on‑the‑road field service across multiple job sites to keep crews operational and safe.

Candidates with hands-on knowledge of the powerline/utility construction industry are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a diesel/heavy equipment mechanic or equivalent training/certification.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and heavy truck electrical systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair both in shop and in the field.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred.
• Familiarity with powerline/utility construction equipment and DOT inspection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose and repair our fleet of heavy trucks and equipment in the field.
• Provide on-the-road field service to keep crews operational and safe across job sites.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced Road Mechanic to maintain diagnose and repair our fleet of heavy trucks digger derricks bucket trucks trailers and specialized equipment used in powerline construction and maintenance This role provides on the road field service keeping crews operational and safe across job sites Candidates with hands on knowledge of the powerlineutility construction industry are strongly preferred though not required

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
