Job summary

Qualifications

• High school education or GED; equivalent education/experience acceptable.
• CDL on date of hire or obtained within 360 days per FMCSR 49 CFR 383.
• Valid North Carolina driver's license or out-of-state license as allowed.
• Pre-employment drug testing and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Operate power tools and vehicles for road maintenance and construction.
• Inspect work zones, enforce safety, and assist with signs and flagging.
• Assist in snow and ice removal, vegetation work, and basic concrete tasks.
• Support other trades such as carpentry and welding as needed.
