Job summary

Central Transport is seeking a Road Driver Associate Trainee (Overnight Shift) for new CDL graduates. Duties mirror a Local Linehaul Driver and include driving, dock work, and delivering to terminals within our network across the United States.

Recent graduation from an accredited Tractor Trailer Driving School is required. Must present certificate of completion, transcripts, letter of recommendation from driving school, and a DOT long-form physical.

Qualifications

• Must have certificate of completion from an accredited driving program.
• Transcripts from driving school must be provided.
• Letter of Recommendation from Driving school required.
• DOT physical Long form (5 pages) required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive various types of vehicles, including dry vans and forklifts.
• Safely transport goods and materials to designated locations.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient delivery.
• Load and unload cargo using equipment such as forklifts.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.

Road Driver Associate Trainee (Overnight Shift) - For New CDL Graduates. Duties similar as a Local Linehaul Driver. Must be a recent Graduate from an accredited Tractor Trailer Driving School. Dedicated Home Daily routes hauling freight to terminals/ and meet points in our network. This position is a combination of driving and dock work.

Must have

• Letter of Recommendation from Driving school
• DOT physical Long form- 5 pages
