Job summary

Central Transport is hiring CDL Class B drivers for local home daily routes at the Hillside terminal. You will pickup and deliver freight, provide excellent customer service, and unload at day’s end to ensure on-time, damage-free deliveries.

Qualified candidates hold a Class B CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements (or willingness to obtain), must be 21+, and have 3 months of Class B driving experience with DOT medical standards compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience driving a straight truck in local pickup/delivery routes.
• Must hold a valid Class B CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain.
• Must be 21 years old and meet DOT medical standards.

Responsibilities

• Local Pick Up & Delivery routes with multiple stops in a day.
• Drive a Straight Truck and provide excellent customer service.
• Unload trailer upon completion of daily route.
• Ensure freight is delivered on time and damage free.

Local Pick Up & Delivery routes consist of picking up and delivering freight at multiple stops while driving a Straight Truckthroughout the day and providing excellent customer service to our customers. Drivers are responsible for ensuring that our customers’ freight is delivered on time and damage free. Our drivers also unload their trailer upon completion of their daily route.
