Job summary

Central Transport in Austin, TX is seeking home daily overnight linehaul drivers. As a linehaul driver, you would leave from Austin, drive to another Central Transport facility, and then return to your home terminal.

Our Home-Daily Line Haul Drivers are the backbone of our operation. By delivering reliable, on-time service every day, you enable us to exceed customer expectations, strengthen existing partnerships, and win new business.

Qualifications

• 6 Months of recent tractor-trailer experience
• HazMat and Tanker endorsement or the willingness to obtain within 60 days
• Acceptable motor vehicle record
• No DUI’s within the last 5 years (No more than 1 in a lifetime)
• Ability to pass a DOT Drug Screen AND hair follicle test

Responsibilities

• Leave from Austin, drive to another Central Transport facility, and return to your home terminal.
• Ensure on-time delivery and safe handling on each overnight linehaul assignment.
• Support the network by maintaining reliable, daily service for customers.
