Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a CDL Class A truck driver to transport trailers between service centers and turn-point locations. This role requires long-distance driving, adherence to safety and DOT regulations, and the ability to load/unload freight when needed.

You will operate long combination vehicles across multiple states, maintain accurate documentation, and stay compliant with hazmat and tank endorsements where applicable. Overnight stays may be required.

Competenze

• Class A CDL with double/triple, hazmat, and tank endorsements; automatic transmission restriction allowed.
• At least 1 year of recent driving experience or completion of a driver development course.
• Valid MVR and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Ability to operate long combination vehicles in multiple states; meet qualification standards.
• Strong communication skills, physical ability to hook trailers and lift approx. 100 pounds, and capacity to work independently or in teams.

Position Overview: Responsible for picking up and delivering trailers between Service Centers and turn-point locations using tractor-trailer combinations.

Key Duties

• Operate tractor-trailer units, including doubles and triples where applicable.
• Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections.
• Hook and unhook trailers and converter dollies, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Ensure compliance with hazardous material regulations and follow dispatch instructions.
• Load and unload freight as needed, and perform chaining of tires if required.
• May perform duties of a city driver or dock employee as operationally necessary.
• Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

• Class A CDL with double/triple, hazardous materials, and tank endorsements; automatic transmission restriction allowed.
• At least 1 year of recent driving experience or completion of a driver development course.
• Valid Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Ability to operate long combination vehicles in multiple states; meet qualification standards.
• Strong communication skills, physical ability to hook trailers and lift approximately 100 pounds, and capacity to work independently or in teams.
• Demonstrates initiative, motivation, and adherence to safety standards.

Working Conditions

Long-distance driving in varied weather, exposure to noise, vibration, dust, diesel fumes, and potentially hazardous materials. Overnight stays may be required.
