Job summary

Raptor Material LLC is seeking an Equipment Operator for the recycle division. The role operates a limited set of road and maintenance equipment during day shifts with overtime as needed. Full-time position reporting to Mine Supervisor, with a salary range of $26.00–$31.00 per hour.

Under supervision, you will perform essential hauling, construction, and maintenance tasks to build and repair county roads and infrastructure while adhering to safety procedures and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Operate graders, front-end loaders, backhoes, asphalt distributors, rollers and related equipment to maintain and repair county roads and drainage structures.
• Check and fuel vehicles and perform light mechanical adjustments and assist mechanic in repairs on assigned equipment.
• Ensure all site activities are performed in a safe and efficient manner, while adhering to safety regulations and established operational procedures.
• Immediately report any safety-related incidents.
• Display and maintain a professional decorum at all times.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and housekeeping tasks, as required.
• May drive dump and water trucks.
• May blade roads and spread gravel and rock using graders.
• May make and grade road shoulders, bridge headers, shape ditches, and install culverts using grader.
• May perform various manual tasks involved in repairing roads and bridges.
• Performs other related duties as may be assigned.
