Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Power & HVAC Road Technician 2 to join our field service team. You will troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical equipment, including HVAC, diesel generators, and load banks, both indoors and outdoors.

The role requires 5-7 years of hands-on experience with Power & HVAC equipment, a valid driver's license, a DOT medical card, and EPA 608 certification. You will train others and support customers on-site with practical solutions.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of hands-on experience repairing Power & HVAC equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; DOT physical; EPA 608 certification.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Perform advanced/complex repairs on Power & HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose customer needs and provide solutions.
• May lead and train team members in the absence of a supervisor.
