Job summary

C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. is seeking a Laborer to support local operations. The role involves assisting with preparation and labor across various trades, including asphalt, pipe, grading, and traffic control. Candidates should be able to use hand and power tools and lift materials as needed.

The position requires stamina to stand/walk for long periods and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. Drug testing and background checks are performed, and EOE/AA policies apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to work days, nights, or weekends as needed.
• Able to complete all required paperwork efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and labor for various trades (asphalt, pipe, grading, curb and gutter, structures, and traffic control).
• Place asphalt using hand or power tools (shovel, rake, pick hammer, tamp, saw, etc.).
• Shovel or rake gravel, dirt, or other material.
• Lift, carry, and transfer materials and tools.
• Assist in moving and placing traffic control devices.
• Follow safe practices and procedures.
• Stand/walk for prolonged periods and work outside in inclement weather.
