Job summary

American Structurepoint, Road Group, Indianapolis, IN, invites applications for a Civil Engineering Co-op focused on transportation projects. You will join a close-knit team on roadway design for INDOT, cities, and counties, gaining hands-on experience from design calculations to cost estimates.

Most work will be in the office with occasional site visits, using MicroStation OpenRoads Designer, ORD, Bluebeam, and standard office tools.

Qualifications

• Student majoring in Civil Engineering or related field with a focus on Civil Engineering.
• Reliable transportation to and from the office.
• Strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, willingness to take on new challenges, and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to roadway design by working on design calculations, roadway layouts, drainage analysis, plan production, and quantity and cost estimates.
• Gain hands-on experience with 3D modeling and work with tools like MicroStation/GEOPAK, Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Get involved in a wide variety of projects—roundabouts, urban streets, rural roads, drainage improvements, and large interstate projects.
• Other duties as assigned

American Structurepoint’sRoad Groupis seeking candidates to join us for our Co-op program in Indianapolis, IN!As a Road Co-op, you’ll work as part of a close-knit team onroadway projects for INDOT, cities, towns, and counties throughout Indiana. Most of your work will take place in the office, withoccasional site visits, as you assist with quantity takeoffs, create construction plan sets using MicroStation OpenRoads Designer (ORD), prepare design documentation, and develop construction cost estimates. From large interstate and interchange projects to urban reconstructions, rural maintenance, and roundabouts, you’ll gainhands‑on experience across a wide variety of impactful transportation projects.
