Job summary

American Structurepoint, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking a Road Co-op to join a close-knit team on roadway projects for INDOT and local authorities.

You’ll help with design calculations, plan production, and construction cost estimates while gaining exposure to 3D modeling using ORD and related tools. You’ll work in-office with occasional site visits, develop technical skills, and explore a future in civil engineering through mentorship and hands-on experience on diverse transportation

Qualifications

• Student majoring in Civil Engineering or related program with a focus on Civil Engineering
• Reliable transportation to and from the office
• Strong workethic, eagerness to learn, willingness to take on new challenges, and a collaborative mindset

Responsibilities

• Contribute to roadway design by working on design calculations, roadway layouts, drainage analysis, plan production, and quantity and cost estimates
• Gain hands-on experience with 3D modeling and work with tools like MicroStation OpenRoads Designer (ORD), Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Get involved in a wide variety of projects—from roundabouts to urban streets and rural roads; other duties as assigned

American Structurepoint’sRoad Groupis seeking candidates to join us for our Co-op program in Indianapolis, IN!As a Road Co-op, you’ll work as part of a close-knit team onroadway projects for INDOT, cities, towns, and counties throughout Indiana. Most of your work will take place in the office, withoccasional site visits, as you assist with quantity takeoffs, create construction plan sets using MicroStation OpenRoads Designer (ORD), prepare design documentation, and develop construction cost estimates. From large interstate and interchange projects to urban reconstructions, rural maintenance, and roundabouts, you’ll gainhands‑on experience across a wide variety of impactful transportation projects.

Qualifications
