Job summary

Fremont Economic Development Corp. seeks a Road & Bridge Operator to operate trucks and other equipment for county roads and bridges in Colorado. The role may require evenings, weekends, and holidays, with reporting to Salida or Buena Vista locations.

This full-time, non-exempt, hourly position offers a wage range of $21.95 to $26.88 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA, retirement plan, and paid leave.

Qualifications

• Experience operating trucks and other light and heavy equipment used in road repair and maintenance.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• May report to Salida or Buena Vista location in Colorado.

Job description

The Road & Bridge Operator operates trucks and other light and heavy equipment in the repair and maintenance of County roads and bridges. May need to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The employee may be assigned to report to either the Salida or Buena Vista location. With successful overall work performance and proficiency in Operator I responsibilities, the employee has the opportunity to progress to the Operator II position.

This is a full-time, non-exempt, hourly position with a wage range of $21.95 to $26.88.
