Job summary

AECOM in Kentucky is seeking a Construction Inspector/Technician to join the team. You will perform general construction inspection tasks verifying compliance with codes, ordinances, and contract plans on bridges, roadways, and environmental components in Kentucky.

This role requires flexibility with schedules, accurate documentation, and the ability to work with project teams to meet deadlines. A High School diploma with 4 years of experience and a valid driver's license are required; KYTC

Qualifications

• High School diploma + 4 Years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Valid Drivers License
• Familiarity with KYTC Construction Specifications
• Have necessary certifications from KYTC to perform inspection.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and documents conformance with quality, performance, safety and code requirements.
• Assists with engineering calculations, sets up and operates equipment, inspects equipment and installations for compliance with specifications and maintains project documentation.
• Adheres to procedures and company policies to achieve results and deadlines.
• Understands highway construction and specifications.
