North Alamo Water Supply Corporation in Edinburg, TX seeks a RO Plant Operator I to responsibly operate equipment used to treat, test, and transfer water at the Reverse Osmosis facilities. You will handle various chemicals in the water lab and monitor readings, ensuring safe and compliant operation.

A high school diploma or GED and a valid Texas driver license are required. You must be willing to pursue a TCEQ Certificate of Competency for Grade D Water within 12 months and then Grade C Water,

Competenze

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Texas driver license required and insurable.
• Willing to pursue TCEQ Grade D Water within 12 months, then Grade C Water.
• Fluent in English; strong communication and math skills; ability to work flexible shifts.

Mansioni

• Operate equipment used to treat, test, and transfer water or wastewater at RO facilities.
• Handle chemicals (chlorine, alum, ammonia, lime, acids) in the water lab for treatment.
• Inspect and test equipment; relay variations to supervisor immediately.
• Monitor readings, meters, gauges; conduct daily, hourly, or monthly readings as required.
• Run lab tests (pH, chlorine residual, turbidity) and maintain lab area and surroundings.
• May back up at other plant locations; participate in required trainings and safety procedures.
