Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking an experienced Operator-Reverse Osmosis Operator for its Taylor, TX site. You will manage UPW-IWT systems including RO, ion exchange, and filtration to ensure continuous plant operations.

Role requires strong troubleshooting, ability to read P&IDs, and proficiency with SCADA systems. Excellent teamwork and safety compliance are essential in this 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• 2 years of college/technical school or equivalent related experience.
• Semiconductor or high-volume manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with Siemens, FMCS and Honeywell SCADA systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment and processes to improve reliability.
• Communicate effectively across the organization.
• Perform equipment rounds and readings in UPW-IWT systems.
• Respond to equipment/system failures and troubleshoot.
• Make adjustments to restore normal operation.
• Perform ion exchange regenerations and RO cleans.
• Assist in consumable replacements for UPW and IWT plants.
• Create and improve SOPs and the operations certification system.
• Mentor junior Technicians on process and procedures.
• Execute improvement projects outside normal duties to improve the area.
