Rolls-Royce Power Systems in Aiken, SC is seeking a RO Technician (Reman Overhaul) to assemble and disassemble MTU engines and related components per specification. You will inspect parts for defects, evaluate wear, and determine acceptance or rejection based on drawings.

The role requires a High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of field service or mechanical/electrical troubleshooting experience, and U.S. work authorization without sponsorship. Local relocation assistance is not provided.

• Analyze and interpret test results obtained from inspections to diagnose equipment capabilities and next steps

Basic Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED and two years field service, mechanical or electrical troubleshooting experience

Preferred Requirements:

• Advanced operational ability and skill, as demonstrated by acquiring the points associated with Skilled Based Pay Competency Level 3
• Skilled use of mechanical and electrical hand tools
• Skilled use of measurement and testing tools for mechanical and electrical systems
• Knowledge in technical language and engineering terminology
• Knowledge in the practical principles of electronics, physics, hydraulics, and pneumatics

Mental & Physical Requirements:

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. The employee may also be exposed to any number of elements but with none present to the extent of being disagreeable.

Pay Range

Pay ranges for remote employees are based on the state where the employee resides and may vary from the posted range.
