Job summary

EDL in Michigan is seeking an RNG Operator Technician to operate and maintain an RNG plant, including gas compression, processing, and filtration equipment, and to interface with landfill gas operations and local utility providers.

The role requires strong electrical and mechanical skills, strict safety adherence, and the ability to read data and report findings. On-call duties are required within 45 minutes of the power station, with teamwork and independent work supported by company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience with gas or refrigeration equipment is required.
• Advanced electrical skills including fault finding on PLCs, generators, high voltage or control systems.
• Ability to operate and interpret data from process control systems.

Responsibilities

• Operation and maintenance of RNG plant including gas compression, processing and filtration equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and OSHA guidelines.
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance of fixed plant equipment and related systems.
• Document and report equipment maintenance, operation and condition.
• Perform fault-finding and repairs on gas, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Operate advanced instrumentation and process control systems.
• Be available for on-call duties within 45 minutes of the plant.
• Interface with well field operations and local natural gas utility.
• Contribute to health and safety at the workplace and follow company policies.
