Job summary

Carbon Cycle North Carolina LLC is seeking a hands-on Operations Manager for its Warsaw, North Carolina anaerobic digestion and RNG facility. You will lead daily shift activities, supervise staff, and ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations.

Reporting to the Facility Manager, you will monitor plant performance, coordinate priorities, troubleshoot issues, and provide clear updates. The role is full‑time, on‑site with overtime coverage as needed, with compensation ranging from $80,000 to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or technical field preferred.
• Minimum two years supervisory or lead-operator experience in an industrial, manufacturing, utility, wastewater, agricultural, renewable energy, or similar operating environment.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Experience in industrial/plant operations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift activities and assign work.
• Monitor feedstock, digestion, gas upgrading, wastewater, and digestate operations.
• Coordinate with the Facility Manager and Maintenance Manager to troubleshoot and prioritize actions.
• Track operating data, equipment status, and shift activity for management updates.
• Support compliance with OSHA, environmental permits, and other standards.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, reduce downtime and operating costs.
• Communicate clearly with operators, contractors, vendors, and management.
• Provide operational coverage outside regular hours when required.
